The mystery billionaire who sat quietly at WrestleMania commentary has been identified!
WrestleMania 42 happened in Las Vegas over the weekend, and there were plenty of big moments that got everyone talking. But fans were also curious — why was a random guy sitting next to commentators Wade Barrett and Michael Cole?
The event was amazing! On night two, Roman Reigns beat CM Punk to win the World Heavyweight Championship in the main event. The night before, Cody Rhodes kept his Undisputed WWE Championship by beating Randy Orton. On Saturday, Liv Morgan won the Women’s World Championship by defeating Stephanie Vaquer. Then on Sunday, Rhea Ripley took down Jade Cargill to win the WWE Women’s Championship in a really exciting match.
But what caught lots of fans’ attention wasn’t just the wrestling — it was that quiet man sitting at the commentary table with Barrett and Cole. He didn’t say a word or wear a mic, which made people wonder, “Who is he?”
One fan asked, “Yeah, who is he? And he didn’t say anything either.” Another said, “I went to Raw in February and some people got to sit at the announce table before the show—it might be part of a fancy package, so maybe he paid a lot for it lol.” Another wondered, “If he didn’t say anything, what was the point?” Someone else pointed out, “The man at the table for Rhea vs. Jade didn’t speak once during the match.”
Now, it turns out the mystery guest was Adam Weitsman, a billionaire scrap metal businessman from New York. He’s 57 and runs Upstate Shredding, a scrap metal company in Owego, New York. Reports say he’s worth about $1.5 billion and has also appeared on the Netflix show Selling Sunset. In 2021, he started a crypto mining company called Viridium LLC, which added even more to his fortune.
Adam has been married to his wife Kim since 2006, and they live in the LA Hills as of last year. He hasn’t said much about sitting at the commentary desk, but he did share a video of IShowSpeed doing a move on Logan Paul with the caption: “I like to do the more cultured, refined things on the weekend… @WWE.”
