The Turkish Super Lig is getting ready for their next big signing after Mo Salah, this time aiming for a Real Madrid star.
Another top Turkish team is looking to make a big splash by going after one of Real Madrid’s most exciting young players, hoping to bring a major signing to the Super Lig.
Liverpool legend Mohamed Salah has just joined Trabzonspor and was greeted with a fantastic welcome as the new season approaches. Meanwhile, the big three clubs in Istanbul are paying close attention.
Fenerbahce, like their rivals Galatasaray and Besiktas, are always eager to sign big names. They’re reportedly aiming to sign Brazilian forward Endrick from Real Madrid, competing with Serie A clubs Fiorentina and Roma for his signature.
Endrick, 20, seems to be keeping his options open since Jose Mourinho came back as manager. After spending last season on loan at Lyon in Ligue 1, Endrick might go on another loan before the transfer window closes.
Turkish journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu says Endrick has told Real Madrid he wants to leave the club for good. TRT Spor’s Fenerbahce reporter Doruk Tecimer says the club has reached out to Endrick’s team, but no deal is set yet.
“Endrick was asked about his terms,” Tecimer shared on X. “Real Madrid is fine with a move, but the player prefers the Premier League. Talks are still happening.”
Many sources say Endrick wants a loan where he’s guaranteed playing time, which might be tough with top clubs that have deep squads—the very teams he might want to join.
Endrick came to Real Madrid from Palmeiras in 2024. So far, he’s played 40 games for Los Blancos, mostly during the 2024-25 season. Last season, on loan at Lyon, he played 16 times in Ligue 1 and scored five goals. He’s also been a regular for Brazil under former Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti in 2026.
Ancelotti picked Endrick in Brazil’s 26-man World Cup squad for the USA, Canada, and Mexico, and he played in four matches off the bench against Haiti, Scotland, Japan, and Norway.
Despite all the transfer talk, Endrick started and scored in Real Madrid’s recent pre-season friendly against Fiorentina in Austria.
Turkish clubs’ transfer strategies have been interesting over the years. Fenerbahce’s squad already includes stars like Matteo Guendouzi, Marco Asensio, Mason Greenwood, Nathan Ake, and Diego Carlos, plus recent signings N’Golo Kante in February and Amara Diouf in June.
Salah’s move to another Turkish club has sparked extra interest in what the Super Lig teams are doing, but it’s unlikely we’ll see an even bigger surprise this transfer window.
