What Celebrities Enjoy in the Wimbledon Royal Box – Priyanka Chopra Shares the Scoop in a Video

Actress Priyanka Chopra recently shared what it’s like for celebrities in the Royal Box at Wimbledon during her Instagram live.

This year’s Wimbledon is building up to an exciting finish on Sunday, with defending champion Jannik Sinner facing Alexander Zverev in the final. Sinner earned his spot after a strong straight-sets win against Novak Djokovic, while Zverev advanced by beating Arthur Fery. The final is set to be a thrilling match between two of the top players, thrilling fans both at the stadium and at home.

For those lucky enough to be in the Royal Box, the experience is super special. The All England Lawn Tennis Club says the Royal Box is “used for the entertainment of friends and guests of Wimbledon.” There are only 74 seats, usually given to tennis stars, partners, the British armed forces, media, supporters of British tennis, and other important guests.

A famous photo of tennis legend Roger Federer sitting alone in the Royal Box recently went viral, and many other celebrities have been spotted at the tournament too. The Princess of Wales and Duke of Kent have been among the royal guests, while stars like Sir David Beckham, Dame Mary Berry, and Niall Horan have also watched matches. Priyanka Chopra even attended and gave fans a peek at the luxurious Royal Box on her Instagram live.

Chopra, who is said to be India’s highest-paid actress, showed the amazing court views, her personal no-delay TV screen, and all the top-notch services provided. She also enjoyed an intense women’s semi-final between Karolina Muchova and Coco Gauff. Muchova won in a thrilling tie-break and is now set to face fellow Czech Linda Noskova in her first Wimbledon final.

While guests in the Royal Box don’t pay to watch, fans who want the VIP experience can buy prestigious Wimbledon debenture tickets—though they come at a price. These tickets offer premium seats on Centre Court and No.1 Court, similar to the Royal Box view. Prices start around £2,200 and can go as high as £9,500 for the men’s final, which is a lot just to watch a few hours of tennis! No surprise that only a few people buy them.

On Sunday, Wimbledon will be packed as thousands watch the men’s final, with many more tuning in from home. Back in 2025, Sinner’s win over Carlos Alcaraz drew 8.8 million TV and online viewers, with 8.3 million on BBC One alone. The women’s final also attracted 4.1 million viewers on BBC One to see Iga Swiatek claim her first Wimbledon title with a big win over Amanda Anisimova.
