WWE has stopped all wrestlers from doing gross acts on TV, and Kevin Owens has shared his thoughts.

Kevin Owens, who recently made a big comeback, has shared a surprising WWE rule about a move that’s never allowed. After being away for a while due to neck surgery that almost ended his career, Owens returned at SummerSlam and quickly became the top contender for the WWE Championship.

While recovering and unable to wrestle, Owens stayed involved behind the scenes. He joined the WWE show LFG (Legends & Future Greats) as a mentor and coach, working with up-and-coming talents alongside stars like Bubba Ray Dudley, Natalya, and Booker T.

Owens helped coach Harlem Lewis and Mike Derudder during their tag team match against Harley Riggins and Jax Presley, who were coached by Booker T. Although Riggins and Presley won, the match ended with some drama—one wrestler spat on his opponents, and the other responded with an angry gesture. This almost led to a fight right in front of the fans!

Lewis was really upset, saying, “They beat us the whole match, and then they win. For him to spit on me and my partner, that’s not okay.” Riggins defended himself, saying making moves like that is part of the business to get attention.

Backstage, Booker T told Lewis to “handle it like a man” and get ready for a confrontation. Owens was shocked to hear about the spitting. Later, when Lewis wanted to use the spit incident in their next match as part of the story, Owens quickly said no—spitting is not allowed on TV in any way.

Owens explained, “You can’t spit on each other on TV, they don’t allow that. Instead, play it like the other guy disrespected you, and now you’re going to make him respect you. It’s an easy story to tell.”

On a personal note, Owens is gearing up for a big match against CM Punk for the WWE title. These two have a long, heated history and don’t get along in real life. Their tension was clear in a recent SmackDown segment where some real words were exchanged. Fans can catch their showdown live in Toronto on August 21.
