Just a week after WrestleMania 42, it was reported that WWE had let go of 22 wrestlers. Making this kind of decision is never easy, but in a company always searching for new stars and fresh stories, some current wrestlers sadly have to be cut. This week, it was confirmed that popular names like Kairi Sane and Zelina were among those leaving the roster.

With so many wrestlers being let go, fans and fellow wrestlers might have thought the cuts were over. But another star recently shared on social media that she, too, is leaving WWE. Carlee Bright posted on Instagram to explain that her time with the company had come to an end. She also shared a heartfelt thank-you to her fans and talked about what her WWE journey has meant to her.

The good news for fans is that Carlee’s exit won’t be noticed right away—she’s still appearing on Season 3 of WWE LFG. Plus, she made it clear that this isn’t the end of her wrestling career.

Carlee said, “Tonight, you’ll see me on Season 3 of WWE LFG. But just two days ago, my time with WWE officially ended. This wasn’t how I imagined this chapter finishing, but if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s how to fight through tough and uncertain times. I don’t think I’ll ever have enough words to thank WWE for this amazing experience—from all the filming, hair and makeup, long drives, and hard training days, I really felt like my own Hannah Montana, living the best of both worlds. I’ll always treasure the laughs, memories, and people who made this so special. You’ve changed my life forever.

And to little Kenny — you did it. You made it further than you ever dreamed. You lived your childhood dream, and that makes me feel like the luckiest girl alive. Wrestling has a funny way of showing love. One thing I know for sure: I wasn’t raised to give up. This chapter may be closing, but my story is far from over. Xoxo.”

Carlee joined WWE in November 2022 as part of the Performance Center’s Fall Rookie Class. She quickly impressed fans and by January 2024 had become a star in NXT. While she didn’t win any big titles, she built a strong fanbase who will definitely miss her and hope she’s back in the ring soon.
