Jannik Sinner has really made a name for himself in the GOAT conversation in 2026, but how much money has he earned during his amazing year?

At the start of the 2026 tennis season, fans already knew Sinner was special, but most didn’t expect him to do so much this quickly.

Just recently, the 24-year-old won the Italian Open by beating Casper Ruud 6-4, 6-4 in the final, with the crowd in Rome cheering him on loudly.

This win keeps his amazing streak going in ATP Masters tournaments, which has been running since the Paris Masters at the end of 2025.

Plus, winning the Italian Open came with a big cash prize—Sinner took home a cheque for €1,007,165 (£877,074).

So, how much has Sinner earned this year, and where does he stand on the career money list?

We’re only partway through 2026, and Sinner has already made a huge amount from his tennis success.

Thanks to his win in Rome, he’s earned around £5 million from tournaments in just the last 137 days!

It’s no surprise he’s at the top of this year’s earnings list, with his close rival Carlos Alcaraz a bit behind, making under £3.5 million because of some time missed due to injury.

This year, only four players have earned more than £1.5 million so far, including Alexander Zverev (£2.3 million) and Daniil Medvedev (£1.7 million), who come after Sinner and Alcaraz.

Looking ahead to the next big event of 2026, the French Open at Roland Garros in late May, Sinner has another chance to boost his earnings even more, with the winner’s prize at £2.4 million.

If he wins, he’ll climb higher on the all-time career earnings list, where he’s currently just behind British star Andy Murray in sixth place.

So far, Sinner has made about £48.17 million in career prize money, while Murray is just a little ahead with around £48.44 million.

Alcaraz stands in fourth place, with about £48.67 million.

At the very top, tennis legends Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, and Novak Djokovic lead the list, with Djokovic holding the record at £144.6 million.

During his Italian Open run, Sinner broke Djokovic’s record for most consecutive wins in ATP Masters matches, hitting 34 straight wins after beating Andrey Rublev in the quarter-finals.

Sinner is now the only player ever to win six Masters 1000 titles in a row across two seasons, from Paris 2025 to Rome 2026, and five in a row at the start of a calendar year, from Indian Wells to Rome.

He also made history by winning three straight Masters 1000 titles on hard courts (Paris 2025, Indian Wells, Miami 2026) and then three more in a row on clay (Monte Carlo, Madrid, Rome 2026).

Winning all three major clay tournaments in one year matches a milestone only Rafael Nadal had achieved before, back in 2010.

Plus, at just 24, Sinner has won all nine active Masters 1000 tournaments, beating Djokovic’s record of doing it at age 31.

Finally, with his 34-match win streak, Sinner has an incredible 95.7% set win rate—winning 66 out of 69 sets—a feat no other player in the Open Era has reached.
