AC Milan fans put on an amazing protest at San Siro as the ultras share a strong message

AC Milan fans showed strong feelings against CEO Giorgio Furlani during their recent 3-2 loss at home to Atalanta.
Right now, Milan is in fourth place in Serie A, just behind their big rivals Inter, who won the league this season. With only two games left, Milan holds the last Champions League spot but could still fall to the Conference League. Their recent form hasn’t been great, with only one win in seven league matches and goals scored in just two of those games.
Milan won the Serie A title in 2022, but many fans feel the club didn’t make the most of that success due to poor choices and management. A lot of the frustration is aimed at the RedBird ownership group and CEO Furlani, who has been leading the club since late 2022.
Besides the struggles on the pitch and in the transfer market, fans feel the club is now disconnected from its supporters. Once a top team, Milan feels like it has lost its spark. Fans used the weekend’s game against Atalanta to speak out against the club’s leadership.
Protests started outside the stadium before the match and continued inside. Supporters in the Curva Sud section used their flashlights to display the message “G.F. OUT,” clearly showing their anger towards the board. They kept chanting throughout the game, and when Milan was 3-0 down in the second half, many fans left the stadium to express their disappointment. Although Milan scored twice late on, the many empty seats showed how fans were feeling.
In their latest fanzine, the Curva Sud group asked for Furlani’s resignation. They reminded fans of the joy from four years ago when Milan won the Scudetto, praising the team’s courage, unity, and spirit. Now, they say, all that is gone.
They criticized the club’s directors, especially Furlani, blaming them for the club’s current troubles. They also said the owners seem more focused on money than Milan’s proud history and the dreams of its fans.
