Alisha Lehmann has won two end-of-season awards with Leicester City, even though she played just 415 minutes after joining in January.

She began the 2025/26 season with Como in Serie A, signing a three-year deal after moving from Juventus. However, she didn’t start any games there and wasn’t included in the squad, so she moved to Leicester mid-season and signed a two-and-a-half-year contract.

The former West Ham and Aston Villa forward made only five starts and appeared nine times in total for the Foxes in the Women’s Super League but still earned praise for her efforts. Leicester announced on @LCFC_Women that the 27-year-old won both Goal of the Season, for her strike against Aston Villa, and the fans’ Player of the Season award.

The Player of the Season was totally fan-voted, and Lehmann, one of the most popular female players in the world with 15.5 million Instagram followers, came out on top.

This win is impressive since Lehmann didn’t win any of the games she played in for Leicester, who were relegated after winning just two matches all season. The team struggled like the men’s side and scored only 11 goals in the league. Their last game is on Saturday, 16 May, when they visit Everton.

The post announcing Lehmann’s awards, along with Shannon O’Brien’s Players’ Player of the Season win, got 1.9 million views on X.

Off the field, Lehmann has big brand deals with PRIME, EA Sports FC, and Tezenis. She also joined Fanvue, an AI platform that offers fans a behind-the-scenes look at her life beyond football.

In March, Lehmann addressed the criticism she gets for her glamorous lifestyle, which sometimes leads to negative comments online. She told the BBC, “People don’t see the work I put in. They think I just train and then make TikToks—that’s not true. I’m very professional. I always give my all on the pitch and want to be the best. If I haven’t done enough in training, I’ll do extra rounds to improve. People can think what they want, but everything I do is about being the best player I can be.”

She was previously in a relationship with Villa midfielder Douglas Luiz, and they both moved to Juventus together. In January, Lehmann announced she is now dating semi-professional footballer and Baller League star Montell McKenzie.
