Here’s the complete starting lineup for the Belgian Grand Prix after qualifying at Spa!
Mercedes driver Kimi Antonelli grabbed pole position for the Belgian Grand Prix with an amazing lap in the last qualifying session.
Lando Norris had been fastest before a red flag stopped the session. This happened because Oscar Piastri’s tyre went into the gravel, spreading it across the track. The race officials paused the session to clean it up and keep everyone safe.
Antonelli set the quickest time at 1:44.361, putting him in a great spot to get his championship hopes back on track. This is his sixth pole of the season. Max Verstappen was close behind in second with a 1:44.678. Verstappen got some help from teammate Isack Hadjar, who gave him a tow in the final round to help him get a better grid spot.
Despite finishing third in qualifying, current champion Lando Norris will start 13th because of a 10-place grid penalty. Antonelli’s teammate and title contender George Russell will start third, while Lewis Hamilton will be in fifth.
