Jake Paul shows off wild training with a big snake after missing out on his dream fight list.
Jake Paul has surprised fans with a very unusual training method involving a snake as he gets ready to return to boxing.
After being knocked out by Anthony Joshua last December and breaking his jaw in their Netflix superfight, Paul has been out of action for a while. Despite the serious injury and having two surgeries, the Problem Child isn’t giving up and wants to shake up the sport even more.
He’s been spotted training in the gym for his comeback, but his way of training caught everyone off guard. A video has been shared on social media showing Paul with his gloves on, punching a heavy bag. But in another camera angle, you can see a big snake wrapped around the bag. Someone behind the camera even says, “I’ve never seen anybody hit a punching bag with a snake on it.” Surprisingly, the snake stayed calm while Paul threw his punches.
No official date for Paul’s next fight has been set yet, but his business partner, Nakisa Bidarian, hinted that he might be back in the ring around December or January. At 29 years old, Paul still feels he has a lot to accomplish in boxing. He shared a list of 14 fighters he dreams of facing before he retires.
On Instagram, Paul posted a picture of an old list alongside his new one, including big names like Canelo Alvarez, Conor McGregor, Tom Aspinall, Deontay Wilder, and Francis Ngannou. UFC middleweight champ Sean Strickland is also on the list after recently calling out Paul. Paul even joked about aiming for a world title before he stops fighting.
Here’s the list Paul shared: “Canelo Alvarez, Francis Ngannou, Conor McGregor (Boxing & MMA), Sean Strickland, Darren Till, Ryan Garcia, KSI, Chris Eubank Jr, Edgar Berlanga, Tom Aspinall (Boxing), Deontay Wilder, Nate Diaz (MMA), Midget who ruined our fight (Gervonta Davis), World Title.”
One fight on the wish list seems unlikely now. Paul and KSI, who’ve been rivals for years as YouTubers turned boxers, haven’t been able to agree on a fight. Recently, KSI announced his retirement from boxing and shouted “F— Jake Paul” three times during his announcement.
Paul shared the video on Instagram and made fun of his rival, writing, “And the crowd goes mild.”
