Jeremie Frimpong’s reaction to Arsenal losing the Champions League final was captured on video, and it’s pretty intense!

Jeremie Frimpong might just be the Premier League’s biggest prankster after sharing a fun video reacting to Arsenal’s Champions League final loss to Paris Saint-Germain.

PSG kept their title by winning 4-3 on penalties after a tight 1-1 match. Kai Havertz got Arsenal off to a flying start with a goal in under five minutes, making many fans hope for their first Champions League win ever. But Ousmane Dembele leveled the score in the second half with a penalty after a foul on Khvicha Kvaratskhelia by Cristhian Mosquera.

Arsenal nearly snatched the win in extra time when Viktor Gyokeres’ shot just went wide. Then came the nerve-wracking penalty shootout, which didn’t go Arsenal’s way. Eberechi Eze missed his shot, though David Raya saved one to keep Arsenal’s hopes alive. Unfortunately, PSG didn’t slip up again, and Gabriel’s missed penalty sealed the win for Luis Enrique’s side.

The final had fans around the world watching closely. Manchester City’s Erling Haaland and Tottenham’s cheeky stars Richarlison and Djed Spence were quick to tease Arsenal on social media after the match.

But nothing beat Frimpong’s reaction. He was watching with friends and family, and when Gabriel missed that last penalty, everyone jumped up and cheered loudly. Frimpong shared the clip on Snapchat with the caption “Let it all work out,” referencing a popular song tied closely to Arsenal’s recent signings.

After the video went viral, Frimpong cleared things up, saying, “Chill, me and my friend made a bet, and I won. That’s why I was happy,” with some laughing emojis on his Instagram story.

By the way, Arsenal didn’t have to rely on Gabriel to take that final penalty. Noni Madueke and Martin Zubimendi were available, but Gabriel volunteered to step up. Their usual penalty takers, Havertz, Saka, and Odegaard, had already been subbed off, leaving fewer experienced players to choose from.

Arteta explained after the game, “He wanted to take it. Normally, it would be Bukayo, Martin, and Kai, but if the game goes to extra time and penalties, different players need to step up.”
