Jimmy Kimmel Cracks Funny Donald Trump Joke After Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl Post

American TV host Jimmy Kimmel shared his thoughts on Donald Trump’s harsh criticism of Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime show.
On Sunday, February 8, Bad Bunny – whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio – made history as the first Latin American man to headline the Super Bowl halftime show. He performed during the break of the Seattle Seahawks’ 29-13 win over the New England Patriots at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara.
The Puerto Rican star, who had just won Album of the Year at the Grammys earlier that month, performed for 14 minutes. His show included surprise appearances from Lady Gaga, Ricky Martin, Jessica Alba, Cardi B, Karol G, and Pedro Pascal.
At 31, Bad Bunny became the first artist to sing the entire halftime show in Spanish, only saying “God bless America” in English. Dancers waved flags from several countries, including Puerto Rico, Spain, and Colombia.
Before the show, some expected Bad Bunny to protest against ICE, like he did during his Grammys speech when he shouted “ICE out.” But this time, he didn’t directly criticize ICE or the Trump administration.
Still, President Trump wasn’t happy. On his social media platform, Truth Social, the 79-year-old called the performance the “worst ever.”
“The Super Bowl Halftime Show is absolutely terrible, one of the worst, EVER!” Trump wrote. He added, “It makes no sense, is an affront to the Greatness of America, and doesn’t represent our standards of Success, Creativity, or Excellence. Nobody understands a word this guy is saying, and the dancing is disgusting, especially for young children watching from all over the U.S.A. and the world.”
Kimmel responded during his show ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ on Monday, February 9. He said, “This is a man who paid off a porn star who spanked him with his own face on a magazine.”
He was referring to when Trump was found guilty in January 2025 of 34 felony counts related to falsifying business records. These charges were connected to a cover-up about hush-money paid to an adult film star before the 2016 election.
Trump’s former lawyer, Michael Cohen, paid Stormy Daniels $130,000 to keep quiet about an alleged sexual encounter. Trump denied the claims and the charges. He received an “unconditional discharge,” avoiding jail, probation, or a fine.
