Justin Bieber is in talks to perform at the World Cup final with three other big stars.

FIFA is reportedly talking with Justin Bieber about performing at this month’s World Cup final halftime show. The big match is coming up soon, with more than half of the tournament already done. As the knockout rounds continue and teams get confirmed one by one, the final will take place on July 19 in the United States.
Some football fans aren’t thrilled, but just like the Super Bowl, the halftime will feature a music show with live performances. So far, Shakira, BTS, and Madonna are set to perform. Now, FIFA is said to be in talks to add another big name to the lineup.
The final and halftime show will be at MetLife Stadium, and the break might be a bit longer because of the performances. According to TMZ, Justin Bieber is in discussion with FIFA to join the event and make the show even more exciting.
Justin recently performed at the World Cup’s opening ceremony with his wife, Hailey. He also sang his hit “Yukon” backstage for some lucky VIP guests. Since Bieber isn’t planning a big tour anytime soon, this halftime show would be a special and rare performance.
His latest album, SWAG II, came out in September 2025, following the original SWAG album released the same month. Bieber has taken breaks from music over the years—he paused for five years after his 2015 album Purpose, then returned in 2020. He also took a four-year break before last releasing Justice in 2021, which didn’t get the best reviews.
Earlier this year, Bieber played a cozy set at Coachella, sharing his old YouTube videos with fans watching live and in person. He even put out a live album from that show called SWAG LIVE FROM COACHELLA (WEEKEND I).
While Bieber doesn’t seem interested in big tours these days, he’s becoming known for special one-time shows on huge stages. The World Cup final is just that kind of event, and his loyal fans—Beliebers—will definitely be tuning in, which is great news for FIFA.
