Paul Heyman shares a new message after Brock Lesnar unexpectedly returns from retirement.

Paul Heyman has spoken out after Brock Lesnar made a surprising return to WWE, putting to rest retirement rumors after Wrestlemania.

Lesnar lost to Oba Femi at Wrestlemania 42 in April and appeared to go off-script in a last-minute move that many thought meant he was retiring. He dropped his gloves and boots right in the ring, leaving the commentators and Heyman stunned. When Heyman came in, Lesnar made an X sign with his hands, which usually signals a real injury or something unexpected happening.

But then, Lesnar came back on Monday Night Raw, surprising everyone by attacking Oba Femi just as he was about to start his Open Challenge. The former UFC star hit Oba with four F5s, sending a strong message that he wasn’t retiring.

Raw’s general manager, Adam Pearce, even said Lesnar had retirement papers filed before Heyman showed up with a signed contract for a rematch with Oba at Clash in Italy.

Heyman took to X to share his excitement, writing: “Oh, did I forget to mention that BRRRRRRRRRRRROCK LESNAR decided to do something about Oba Femi? My apologies. It must have slipped my mind!”

Fans think this could lead to Lesnar’s real retirement match at WWE Summerslam, happening in his hometown of Minnesota. Gunther, who defeated John Cena in his final WWE match, is still the favorite to face him.

Clash will be held on May 31 at the Inalpi Arena in Turin, Italy. With this being WWE’s first big live event there, things are expected to heat up as the date gets closer. The event also features Cody Rhodes defending his Undisputed WWE Championship against Gunther, and Roman Reigns battling Jacob Fatu in a Tribal Combat match for the World Heavyweight Championship.
