Richarlison, Djed Spence, and Erling Haaland share their thoughts right after Arsenal’s Champions League final loss.

It didn’t take long for three of the Premier League’s biggest pranksters to share posts on social media after Arsenal lost the Champions League final on penalties.

Paris Saint-Germain defended their Champions League title in a thrilling match in Budapest on Saturday night. Luis Enrique’s team won 4-3 on penalties against Arsenal after a 1-1 draw in regular time. Goncalo Ramos, Desire Doue, Achraf Hakimi, and Lucas Beraldo all scored from the spot.

Gabriel Magalhaes missed the final penalty by shooting it over the bar, which gave PSG the win and made them only the 10th club in history to win back-to-back Champions League titles.

Meanwhile, Arsenal missed out on their first Champions League trophy, and Tottenham forward Richarlison couldn’t resist sharing a laughing child video on Instagram right after the game, along with a flushed face emoji.

Shortly after, Manchester City’s Erling Haaland posted a more low-key message—a smiling photo with some friends. Haaland has a known rivalry with Gabriel Magalhaes after an on-field clash in September 2024 when Haaland threw the ball at him. When asked if he regretted the incident, Haaland said, “I don’t regret much in life.”

Fans quickly noticed the timing of Haaland’s post. One said, “The caption writes itself,” another wrote, “Generational. I just know he was in absolute hysterics,” while a third said, “Proper rage baiter, I respect that.” Someone else added, “No way Haaland just did this to Gabriel.”

On top of that, Tottenham defender Djed Spence reposted a video from Arsenal’s February post showing him getting beaten by Bukayo Saka. Arsenal’s caption said “Locked up,” and Spence replied with eyes and unlocked emojis.

Just minutes after the final whistle, Chelsea also took a cheeky shot at Arsenal on Instagram. The Blues, who finished ninth in the Premier League this season and won’t play in Europe next year, posted an ad for Stamford Bridge stadium tours, calling it “London’s Home of Trophies.”

Chelsea reminded fans of their own Champions League win on penalties against Bayern Munich in 2012 under Roberto Di Matteo, sharing a photo of the trophy with the message: “Come and visit London’s Home of Trophies. Book your Stadium Tour at Stamford Bridge now via the link in our story or bio.”
