WWE star Paige speaks up about fans acting ‘weird’ at the airport in a social media post
WWE star Paige recently took to social media to share her feelings about some “weirdo behavior” from a fan who waited for her at the airport.
Paige made a surprising comeback to WWE in April at WrestleMania in Las Vegas, wrestling for the first time since December 2017, when she teamed up with Brie Bella to win the women’s tag team championships. Now back full-time with WWE after signing a new contract, the 34-year-old has opened up about her frustration with a fan who went way too far trying to get autographs.
On X, Paige revealed that someone was waiting for her at the gate of her connecting flight, carrying a big stack of pictures for her to sign. Paige, whose real name is Saraya-Jade Bevis, gently warned fans not to cross those boundaries. She wrote, “Airport scalpers are morphing… Had someone waiting for me as I was getting off the plane at the gate of my connecting flight with like 30 pictures. I’m usually easy-going about this, but showing up at my gate is just creepy. Please don’t do that.”
When a fan asked if this person bought a plane ticket, Paige replied, “Yes, exactly. It was my connecting flight, so I never went to baggage claim. He probably thought he could make money by having me sign all those pictures right at the gate. He thought it would be worth it, but it wasn’t.”
Many people showed support for Paige’s post, calling out autograph hunters for invading wrestlers’ privacy. This has been a big topic for several WWE stars recently, with Rey Mysterio and Rhea Ripley speaking out about it too. WWE offers lots of official autograph signings and meet-and-greets that fans can attend, but some still try to bother their favorite wrestlers when they’re traveling or staying at hotels.
Unfortunately, this isn’t new for Paige. Back in November 2025, she shared that a stalker followed and filmed her at the airport for 45 minutes without saying a word or asking for a photo or autograph. The man went past security by buying a ticket and kept filming her from a distance.
On her Rulebreakers podcast, Paige talked about how uncomfortable that was, saying, “It’s not okay to follow me everywhere I go. There should be a line. You can be a fan, but you should also make us feel safe. Recently, there was a video on TikTok showing someone following me from my gate… They bought a ticket just to film me coming off the plane, and that made me feel really uncomfortable. Please don’t do that.”
