The Carabao Cup quarter-final draw is out, and Liverpool is set for a challenging reunion.

The Carabao Cup quarter-final matches are all set after Liverpool’s amazing win over Chelsea at Anfield.

Liverpool earned their spot in the quarter-finals by winning a thrilling penalty shootout against Chelsea, one of several exciting games on Wednesday night. Manchester City also won on penalties to move forward, while Crystal Palace, Bournemouth, and Sunderland secured their places. Bradford City and Fleetwood Town had already advanced on Tuesday, and now the next matchups are decided.

Bradford City was the first team to qualify after beating Peterborough United on Tuesday. Soon after, Fleetwood Town became the lowest-ranked team left in the competition after a fantastic penalty shootout win against Premier League champions Arsenal at Highbury Stadium. Arsenal missed a penalty thanks to summer signing Bruno Guimaraes, which knocked them out of the tournament and sent Fleetwood through as the only League Two side remaining.

Following their big win, Fleetwood will now play at home against either Everton or Newcastle United. Liverpool, after their great shootout win, will host Bournemouth, whose coach Andoni Iraola is facing his former club. Iraola said after the draw, “The only team I didn’t want was Bournemouth!” but added that it would still be “special” to play against them in such a big game.

Manchester City will host League One side Bradford, and Crystal Palace will play Sunderland in another exciting match.

The Carabao Cup quarter-finals will take place during the week starting Monday, December 14, 2026. Right after those games, the semi-final draw will happen, with the first legs set for the week of January 11, 2027. The second legs are planned for the week of February 1, 2027, and the final will be held at Wembley Stadium on Sunday, March 21, 2027.
