Here are the seven F1 tracks where Max Verstappen still hasn’t won, even after his big Singapore win.

Max Verstappen just grabbed his second Grand Prix win of the year by taking first place in Singapore, coming off a win in Malaysia last week. This marks the 73rd Grand Prix victory in his Formula 1 career, which has been packed with success, including winning four Drivers’ Championships.

Verstappen must be really happy to finally conquer the Singapore Grand Prix after trying for years. Now, he’s won at 27 different F1 circuits, meaning there are only seven tracks left where he hasn’t stood on the top step of the podium yet.

Verstappen’s F1 career has been amazing so far and has lasted 11 years. He started racing with Toro Rosso in 2015 but didn’t win any races with them. In May 2016, after the Russian Grand Prix, it was announced he’d join Red Bull starting with the Spanish Grand Prix, and he’s been there ever since. His first win came at that 2016 Spanish Grand Prix, kicking off a stellar career.

There are still seven tracks where Verstappen hasn’t won yet. The one he’s struggled with the most is the Sochi Autodrom in Russia. He raced there seven times but never won, though he did finish second twice. Since Sochi isn’t on the current calendar, he might not get another shot there soon.

He’s raced twice at Istanbul Park in Turkiye and at the Algarve circuit in Portugal, with his best result being second place at both, last racing there in 2021. Four other tracks have only hosted him once each. His most recent visit was this year at the Madring in Spain, where he also finished second and will have another chance to win next year.

The Nurburgring in Germany is another track where he finished second during his only race there with Red Bull in 2020. The last two tracks on the list saw him retire in 2020: once at Mugello in Italy and once at the Sakhir outer circuit in Bahrain.

Even though there are seven tracks Verstappen hasn’t won at, he’s been hugely successful, winning on 27 different F1 circuits. He’s won multiple times at some of his favorite tracks like Abu Dhabi, Austria’s Red Bull Ring, and Mexico City, securing five wins at each.

Verstappen has also won four times at several other circuits, including those in Spain, the US, Japan, and Italy—specifically in Barcelona, Austin, Suzuka, and Imola. It’s clear he’s one of the best drivers around and still has plenty of milestones ahead!
