Kim Kardashian isn’t allowed to do two things in the Monaco GP paddock while cheering for Lewis Hamilton.

Kim Kardashian’s visit to the Monaco Grand Prix to support Lewis Hamilton has grabbed a lot of attention – but even this famous TV star and social media queen has to follow some basic rules.
On Saturday, Kardashian made a big splash when she entered the paddock at Circuit de Monaco, surrounded by reporters. Hamilton hasn’t said much about their relationship, but his former teammate George Russell called her “Hamilton’s girlfriend” when she arrived.
She watched qualifying from a balcony above Ferrari’s garages, where Hamilton finished third, behind Mercedes’ Kimi Antonelli and Red Bull’s Max Verstappen. Reporters haven’t gotten an interview with Kardashian yet, though Martin Brundle will probably try during his gridwalk. She did share a friendly moment with former driver Christijan Albers in the pit lane.
With 334 million followers, Kardashian is a huge star, but she still has to follow some rules while in the paddock. The FIA Sporting Regulations say she must have and wear a pass at all times in the paddock and pit lane. The pass can only be used by the person it was given to and for the right reasons. Pets aren’t allowed in the paddock unless approved by the FIA.
Kardashian wasn’t seen wearing her pass when she entered, but her security team likely took care of that. Honestly, it’s very unlikely an official would stop her for it – that would be quite the scene! And she didn’t bring any pets with her.
If Hamilton wins, she won’t be heard on team radio since only authorized team members can talk to drivers. She can take photos inside Ferrari’s garage, but only if invited – which seems likely.
Hamilton’s best time was 1:12.279 in Q3, just over two tenths slower than pole-sitter Antonelli, putting Hamilton ahead of his Ferrari teammate Charles Leclerc in second row. The race to the first corner could be exciting, as Mercedes usually has a slow start. Verstappen, in second, will likely try to pass Antonelli, with Red Bull having fixed their start problems.
Hamilton might follow Verstappen through turn one if he can defend against Leclerc on the outside. The Monaco Grand Prix race starts at 2 pm UK time at Circuit de Monaco.
