Mateus Fernandes is ready to make his final choice about transferring, with both Man United and Spurs showing interest.

West Ham United have agreed to sell Mateus Fernandes after the midfielder chose which team he wants to join.

While most European leagues wait until July to start the transfer window, Premier League clubs have already had more than two weeks to make deals during the World Cup.

The Premier League transfer window officially opened on Monday, June 15, and several clubs have already made moves early on.

The biggest transfer story this summer has been about West Ham star Fernandes, who has caught the attention of many clubs across Europe.

After weeks of speculation, it was widely known that Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur were the main teams interested in the Portugal international, competing to sign him.

Reports said Fernandes was open to joining either club, and the decision was down to West Ham.

Now, it’s been revealed that Spurs have won the race for Fernandes by making the highest bid to West Ham.

According to David Ornstein, West Ham accepted an £85 million offer from their London rivals, and Fernandes is happy to make the move.

The report also says Manchester United couldn’t keep up with the price or the player’s wage demands, so they will now look for other options.
