Gabriel Magalhaes playfully rinsed the viral Manchester City fan with a water bottle after Arsenal were crowned Premier League champions on Tuesday night.

After a close win against Burnley on Monday, Arsenal was just one step away from the Premier League title—they only needed one more win. But they were officially champions with a game to spare after Bournemouth held City to a 1-1 draw at the Vitality Stadium. Erling Haaland scored a late equalizer, giving Arsenal a scare after Junior Kroupi’s amazing first-half goal.

Arsenal players watched the match together at their London Colney training ground and burst into cheers when the final whistle blew, celebrating their first league title in 22 years.

Gabriel shared pictures of himself and his teammates celebrating online, but he also had a little fun teasing a viral City fan who had become a meme.

Sky Sports cameras caught supporter Tal Rehman drinking from an Arsenal water bottle when City went 3-0 up against Chelsea—just one day after Arsenal had lost an important game to Bournemouth. Tal ended up doing many interviews, and his new fame led to some playful teasing from Everton during a recent 3-3 draw.

On Tuesday, Sky’s cameras kept focusing on Tal again, and his pictures quickly spread on social media. Gabriel even shared a screenshot of the fan’s changing expressions on his Instagram story, adding the caption, “Think too much?” with a thinking emoji.

Arsenal players were very active on social media after winning the title. Declan Rice shared a photo of him with teammates and wrote, “I told you all.. it’s done,” recalling his confident words after a defeat to City in April.

Bukayo Saka also responded to rivals’ taunts by posting a video of teammate Myles Lewis-Skelly holding a champagne bottle. They joked, “They call us bottlers,” and then, “And now we’re holding the bottles.”

Arsenal will officially lift their 14th league title on Sunday after their game against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park. Plus, they have a chance to win the Champions League for the very first time when they face the current holders Paris Saint-Germain in the final on May 30 in Budapest.
